Delete your Meal Planner account

Request deletion without the app

1. Email [email protected] with the subject Meal Planner account deletion. You can copy this address into any email service if the link does not open one.
2. Send from your Meal Planner account email when possible. Include the account email and whether you used the production app or the separate beta app. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, payment-card details, or purchase tokens.
3. We will verify that you control the account before deleting data. If you no longer have access to the email address, explain that in your request so support can discuss verification. Support will confirm the outcome or explain any remaining steps and retention that applies.

Delete from the app or your browser

Sign in to Meal Planner, open Settings > Account > Delete Account, and confirm. If you own a shared planner, transfer its ownership first. If a transfer cannot be completed, use the email route above for help with your deletion request.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes your sign-in account, profile, planner memberships, and planners still owned by your account, including their meals, recipes, plans, and shopping lists. Deletion is permanent. A planner transferred to another person remains available to its members.

What may remain

Content in planners owned by other people and shared ingredient vocabulary can remain. Tell support if these contain personal information you want removed. Billing customer and transaction records, provider event records, security logs, backups, and support emails can remain where needed for billing reconciliation, security, or legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and provider; support can explain the applicable retention when handling your request.

Subscriptions and payments

Google Play subscriptions are not automatically canceled by account deletion. To stop renewal, open Google Play subscriptions, select Meal Planner, and cancel. You can do this in a browser without reinstalling Meal Planner. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions; you can still email a deletion request if you need help.

For linked Stripe subscriptions, the app attempts cancellation before removing the account. If cancellation fails, the app reports an error instead of completing deletion. Contact support if this happens. Deleting an account does not automatically issue a refund or erase records retained by payment providers.
